At Go! Comi, we're known for the quality of our books, and for 07-GHOST we're pulling out all the stops.

We're pleased to announce that our editions of 07-GHOST will be created from Ichijinsha's original digital materials.  This means the image quality will be identical to that in the original Japanese editions.  (Most American manga are scanned from the Japanese tankobon, resulting in a loss of image quality and image-area around the margins.)

Our books will also contain the same color pages as the Japanese editions -- also printed from the original digital masters.

And of course, our translation of 07-GHOST will feature the care and skill which brought us an Eisner Award nomination last year for Best Presentation of Japanese Material.

In other words, we're working our tails off to make 07-GHOST the best-looking, highest-quality series we've ever done!  We hope you agree when it hits bookstore in early December!

It's very cool to hear that! I wondered if companies used original digital files or scanned in the images... 

 I got my 07-GHOST volume at the bookstore yesterday! It's gorgeous! I like the re-design of the logo (that kind of look seems to be pretty popular). And I didn't see any typos unlike in the other manga I bought with it (company name shall remain anonymous lol). :(

 I also love the color pages at the beginning! Thank you for including them! I'm very much so looking forward to volume 2.

To be fair, other companies also put out books made from the digital originals.  But it's the exception rather than the rule.  

And I'm quite sure there's a typo or two lurking in there somewhere.  Go! Comi books are proofread something like TWELVE times during the production process, but typos always sneak through.
